  sparlock is about a mother who has a fundamental disagreement with the child about a toy.

  the mother believes, rightly or wrongly, that the toy is a huge threat to the boy's life.

  The difference is that there is real risk to your child from the neighbor's dogs. It's our job as parents to protect our kids when they are too immature to see the dangers around them - and this is exactly the situation you are in. I love animals, and I don't like to make blanket judgements about a specific breed, but these dogs have already displayed aggressive tendencies. You can't overlook the actual behaviour of a particular dog just because "some dogs of that breed are nice".

  sweet potato was already an important crop on pacific islands when europeans landed on the islands: easter island (roggeveen, 1722), new zealand (cook, 1769), and the hawaiian islands (cook, 1778).

  sweet potato, known as kumara, was a staple in the diet of the maoris of new zealand; interestingly, the name kumar is used for this plant in peru!

  roasted with onion, garlic, and portobello mushrooms - toss with a bit of olive oil and thyme, 450 degrees for around 30 minutes. You may want to pre roast the sweet potato for 10 to 15 minutes because it takes longer to cook than the other ingredients.

  i have been to a few funerals and recalled that at many the cloest family members did not cry.. .

  ok cultures and a number of factors may explain that, but could crying mean you don't believe in the resurrection?.

  is it social compliance?.

  One of the elders in the hall I attended looked into adoption and was told that due to his and his wife's age and religion, they would never be able to adopt through an agency. Their only "hope" would have been to try for a private adoption where the pregnant woman specifically chose them. They gave up, and it still makes me sad to think about these two people who love kids and really should have had a houseful but they chose to remain childless so she could pioneer and he could be an elder.

  Demons and the Witnesses

  ok, this one is a little long, but i think it's worth reading.

  in putting this together, i came across a fair amount of interesting information about the witnesses and their belief in demons.

  there's a lot that i'll be interested to put to the next witness i come acoss (if any of them still quite dare to talk to me after last time.
